Ninja Cats?

I have been writing in some form for my whole life, but for various reasons never shared what I wrote. In recent years, it became apparent to me that I actually had some skill with words, and others might appreciate what I have to say. I decided that maybe it was a good thing to share and start writing on a regular basis.

This was the beginning of my journey in the blogging universe.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]

It started with just a series of writings … sometimes simple creations, sometimes rants, and sometimes attempting to share a message … essentially an online journal. At first I had no intent on gathering an audience; I just wanted to make my creations available in an easily accessible place. But I soon began interacting with other bloggers, and learning THE POWER OF THE BLOG. So I started investing more time into it.

A blogging friend of mine notice that The Odd Ramblings has a tendency towards deep and philosophical issues, even if sometimes presented in a humorous or light manner. This is fine because I am a deep thinker. But I am also a fun guy with a strong sense of the ridiculous. And there is so much humor in everyday life that it is a shame not to share anything that puts a smile on your face with others. And so the seed was planted …

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”5/6″][vc_message]Just to be clear, this site is NOT about cats. It is a dedication to the joy of life. A sharing of smiles generated in the everyday incidents we all encounter. But just like a cat, these moments of humor and joy can sneak up on us totally unexpectedly. I used to live in a house run by three sneaky cats, each with their own personalities. I shared a post once that featured these three, said post the ultimate inspiration for this site. So meet the cats:[/vc_message][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/6″][vc_empty_space height=”16px”][vc_btn title=”The post that started it all” align=”center” button_block=”true” link=”||target:%20_blank|”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_text_separator title=”MEET THE NINJA CATS”][vc_empty_space][vc_custom_heading text=”The Masters” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:center” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_tta_accordion active_section=”0″ collapsible_all=”true”][vc_tta_section title=”Gracie” tab_id=”1471968238018-a2ceb6fc-1774″][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_single_image image=”3860″ img_size=”126×150″ alignment=”center” onclick=”custom_link” link=”″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”3/4″][vc_column_text]Gracie was an older cat. She was very set in her ways, but could be very affectionate … when she wanted to be. She used to be a wanderer, but has eventually set her territory within the house and rarely strayed from it. It is possible she was Squeak’s mom; he deferred to her and she occasionally groomed him … and she shared his voice. She had a bit of arthritis, but seemed content. She was originally the only cat in the house. She once disappeared for several months, only to eventually be brought home by Squeak, alive but a little worse for wear. She was an extremely affectionate cat … to a fault sometimes. She was afraid of everything new, but adapted eventually. She also liked to talk. As a kitten, he began visiting the house after the disappearance of Lucky. At first he just ate the food offered, but eventually he moved in. He had an adventurous spirit, an opposable thumb which he was not afraid to use (he had an extra claw on each front paw), and a mighty roar that is apparently supersonic (hence his name). He did not know how to take no for an answer. Squeak posts are dedicated to adventure and perseverance.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”16px”][vc_btn title=”See Squeak posts …” align=”center” link=”|||”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_tta_section][/vc_tta_accordion][vc_custom_heading text=”The Apprentices” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:center” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_message]It became apparent that three Ninja Cats was not sufficient to cover all the bases.
