A lesson written in stone

Now that I had a nice solid rant to clean the airways, I am well prepared for a bit o’ creating. Fortunately it is 100 Word Challenge for Grown Ups time again, so creating is a given. This weeks prompt is actually the following picture. I hope I do the picture justice!

Pygmalion stood up and stretched his back. The honeymoon was definitely over! Sure she was perfection … well worth that first kiss. After all he designed her. But that is when it started going down hill. Once the bliss of having the “perfect” woman wandering around wore off, the magic began to fade. First she wanted new china. Then new furniture. Then a new house. Finally, she decided that a perfectly good horse was simply not impressive enough, and she could not be seen in public on such an ordinary beast. Lesson learned. Be careful what you wish for!
