I just got the newest toy for the hike!
Since we will be pretty much carrying our lives with us on the trail, weight i kind of an issue. This means if I want to regale people with legends of the trail on a regular basis, I need something slightly lighter than a full blown computer system. Fortunately, the iPhone is coming along anyway, so it should serve, except for one minor issue … typing sucks on it, even for a hunt and pecker like myself.
But tis the age of cool gadgets! I am officially typing my first post on my new, flexible, mini blue tooth keyboard, entirely on my iPhone!

Sadly, for those who thought they might escape my spam … er … um … posts occasionally, this means frequent posts are still possible … as long as I can manage to keep batteries charged.
That is the NEXT toy.

It breaks down to travel easily, is made of highly-durable AND weatherproof materials, and is even painted in environmentally-friendly green! I’ll let you borrow it for your whole hike. Just let me know where I can send it, and include just a tiny bit of money for shipping! (How much does Fed Ex charge per ton? 😉 )
Does it come with tank treads? I figure that way it can be a vehicle AND a generator!

This one doesn’t, but the camera is coming. Other tech needed to share the pics. Part of the shopping list. My pack is definitely gonna be heavy haha
