Spreading the spirit

Modern technology has very much changed our respect for the changing seasons in many way. We who live in the modern world forget that in times past, before electricity and methods of transporting large amounts of cargo long distances, winter was a difficult season for many. And in many parts of the world, it still is even now.  Survival during the winter months means communities banding together, to share resources … to help each other out. Survival meant UNITY. Most societies had winter celebrations, often around the winter solstice, for many different reasons. They were festivals to bring joy amidst the bleakness of winter; to remind everyone that they are not alone, and that together we can keep hope alive until the world is reborn in the spring. Though this was often expressed as religious ceremonies … whatever the religion the spirit of the season remained the same. In honor of this spirit, the PAX Nation wishes EVERYONE:

PEACE, PROSPERITY, AND JOY TO ALL AS WE SAY GOOD BYE TO TRIALS PAST AND WELCOME IN THE NEW TOMORROW.

P.S. For those of you in the Southern Hemisphere … we will just have to share the same wish in six months. Hmmm. Maybe we should keep it alive all year long just to be safe.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/12″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
