Not much new here. I had a few physical issues that kept me from exercising for a few days, but all is well now. Biggest dietary hurdle of the week was a visit to my fave Chinese Buffet. Those are my two favorite words on the planet… CHINESE and BUFFET. Let’s just say, “I get my monies worth……. and then some”. The big hurdle this coming week is the fact that we are driving from Texas to Indiana to visit our first grandchild for the first time. That means 4 days of fast food and spending looooong hours cooped up in the car. I feel fatter already. Not much else happening here. Did I mention we moved up our departure date for the hike? Oh yeah, we are now leaving on March the 20th of NEXT YEAR….2014! Forget all that leaving in 1,000 plus days……….. now we are leaving in just 317 days! (I guess that’s the highlight of the week)
My mind gets fried just thinking about it! Ack!!
Road trip rules, NO FAST FOOD! Okay, a little fast food but make reasonable choices. Bring along healthy snacks like nuts and things, Take time to walk for a little bit at each rest stop. Go! Go! Go!
Maybe I’ll run alongside the car as I eat the fast food 🙂 Will that work?

Subway is supposed to be healthy? And they’re everywhere. 🙂
I guess I could survive on four or five Philly Cheese steak Foot-long sandwiches…………. 🙂
Do road trip calories actually count? I need a ruling on this.

You know, posting your weight loss on three different blogs does NOT triple your calorie burn or weight loss! STAND STILL, WILL YA? It’s hard to hit a moving target, even one as slow as I am … I mean, you are. 😉

\O/ great weight loss and miles! Pack some fruit and trail mix and lots of water so you don’t pig out on the junk. Since you upped the departure date going to have to up the prep.
I’m thinking of running alongside the car for a few hundred miles after each fast food stop………………. maybe that will help keep the weight in check 🙂
That might just kill you so I veto that plan.
