Somehow it became monday again. I am not sure how that keeps happening when I least expect it. Of course for this jobless couch potato Monday is just like any other day EXCEPT …
… today is weigh in day. The dread of my approach to the scale this morning would probably make a very long blog post and might even qualify as an award winning Indie Horror Movie, but I will spare you the details. On to the stats …
Week 5:
2.939 miles walked {3.9 Mountain Miles} (35.094 Total)
Weight: 237 (-8 lbs total)
So far Mark seems to be running (technically walking) circles around me in the training mile department. And shedding pounds doing it! I blame it on the media.
After surviving my recent hike, our little group decided to become an official hiking group. We are calling ourselves Team Mount … Until You Summit . Anyone in my part of the world is welcome to join us if they would like some fun, exercise and scenic views. We are planning to do quite a few more mountain hikes this season, and hopefully by the end of the season I will be running up and down the mountains like a pro. All the more important now that we have pulled the starting date forward. I also need to work on my self-defense skills knowing I have a pepperoni pummeler in the vicinity.
So highlight of the week … 1047 magically became 317. Lowlight … social media drama. Are we in the woods yet?
By the way, don’t forget to make us work harder! Make us earn money for your favorite charity! I wanna torture the Idiots!

I think you are doing pretty good. Losing weight and moving around a bit. Maybe moving a little more would be good. How did I miss the date change? Why did you move it up?
Changes just happened yesterday really. I get plenty of moving. To the fridge, to the television, to bed etc. Just not easy to measure the mileage haha
Maybe you need to leave the house. Just a thought.
That sounds kind of scary! 🙂
And hiking the “trail” isn’t?
The only thing scary about the trail are chipmunks………. vile, evil little creatures………….. 🙂
I would much rather the back woods then “civilization”. Much less scary there!
